The Coder is responsible for abstracting pertinent data in the hospital information system to ensure correct billing and indexing. Medical Billing, Medical Coding, Medical Coder, Coder, Insurance Verification, Patient Coding, Billing Coding. RHIT, CCS, Hospital Coding

Education: High School Diploma or GEDLicenses/Certification: Current CCS or RHIT credentials required.

Experience: Four years hospital coding experience preferred. Thorough knowledge of current coding guidelines.
