About the role

Assembly Technician The Assembly Technician will need to assemble and test optical and electromechanical instruments in a team environment. Technicians are accountable for product quality, on time delivery, and all compliance requirements. This role reports to the Service Operations Manager and will work with depot and Customer Relations teams during the recertification processes. Great opportunity to learn a diverse set of instruments, improve problem solving skills and learn the Danaher Business System (DBS), and industry leading set of lean manufacturing tools.
Responsibilities: Recertifying and manufacturing validation plate including Absorbance (ABS1), Fluorescence (FL1) and Luminescence (LM1) validations validation validation of validation of validation and unpacking validation: Associates Degree with 0-1 years of calibration technician experience or equivalent. Experience with assembly, troubleshooting, and repair. Ability to be hands-on with equipment and packaging. Strong focus and pride on quality of work. Results oriented has track record for delivering and sustaining results. Stretch oriented embraces and thrives on challenge. Continuous improvement oriented participates in Kaizens, has familiarity with lean principles and how to apply them to value streams. Customer Service oriented high sense of urgency to satisfy customer needs.
MUST HAVES: 1 year experience Assembly, Good oral communication, Can work overtime on weekdays and Saturdays.
