Job Description:
EHS Supervisor to oversee environmental, health, and safety compliance while supporting safe and efficient plant operations. This role partners with site leadership to promote a strong safety culture, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement. The assignment is expected to last 3 to 6 months, with potential for extension or direct hire based on business needs and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and promote facility safety programs and initiatives. Conduct safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analyses. Track corrective actions and ensure timely completion. Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations. Manage permits, compliance records, and required regulatory reporting. Support environmental programs related to air emissions, wastewater, stormwater, and waste management. Monitor environmental performance and assist with compliance improvement efforts. Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to support safe and compliant operations.
Education:
BA/BS Degree in Environmental Studies or Engineering, Chemical engineering, Industrial Manufacturing or Chemical Processing.
