About the role
Job TitleThe legal department head works in a team, supervising both permanent and contractual staff. They ensure service continuity in the absence of their counterparts. They collaborate with the bureau chief and their deputy, responsible for overseeing the department's activities: handling legal disputes, analyzing and recording legal conviction records of individuals and entities requiring legal expertise, especially in drafting letters; analyzing and issuing criminal record extracts for individuals and entities, processing requests for rectification from users of the CJN.The specific duties of the head consist of supervising and managing the department's staff, conducting professional evaluations of agents, and overseeing the department's schedules and absences. They participate in the bureau's activity management and supervise their department; they are required to formalize and update technical guidelines and sheets for agents, check letters addressed to courts. They provide expertise in their field to department agents and CJN partners (legal and technical questions). They participate in training actions for CJN agents, clerks, and magistrates (ENG-ENM).Shared activities: Under the responsibility of the bureau chief's deputy and in liaison with other department heads, the head ensures the distribution and effectiveness of shared activities concerning responses to bulletin requests issued by individuals or administrations not delivered automatically. Any other activity necessitated by service needs may be implemented. IFSE group 1: from 675€Required Profile Internal training (specific adaptation plan to the job).
