About the role

This position is accountable for the preparation, development, and delivery of technical instruction to customers, commissioning engineers, field service personnel, technical support staff, project success teams, channel partners, and other EPC Power employees in the operation, maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of EPC Power products and systems. Contributes to customer satisfaction, workforce readiness, product adoption, service revenue growth, and operational excellence by delivering instructor-led, virtual, hands-on, and certification-based training programs across EPC Power product lines. Responsible for developing and conducting technical training programs focused on utility-scale solar, battery energy storage systems, power conversion systems, inverter technologies, controls integration, SCADA communications, Modbus networking, commissioning procedures, troubleshooting, maintenance, and advanced applications.   • System Upgrades and Retrofits
Principal AccountabilitiesDeliver technical training programs for customers and employees. Develop and maintain curriculum, presentations, labs, videos, and certification content. Support onboarding of Commissioning, Technical Support, Service, and Project Success personnel. Manage training labs, equipment readiness, and course materials. Develop customer certification and competency programs. Partner with Engineering to incorporate new product releases and lessons learned. Support eLearning, webinars, and remote instruction. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior trainers and SMEs.
Required Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years supporting power electronics, solar, BESS, or industrial electrical equipment. Strong presentation and instructional skills. Ability to travel 30-40% domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications: Commissioning or field service experience. OSHA 30 Certification. NABCEP Certification. Experience with LMS platforms and video development tools. Experience with Salesforce knowledge management. Success MeasuresImproved employee certification completion. Reduced onboarding time. Reduced field escalations. Improved first-time issue resolution.
