Apex Plumbing Pros Heavy Equipment Operator Apex Plumbing Pros is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing excavation team. This role is responsible for operating heavy equipment—including backhoes and mini excavators—to perform residential and commercial sewer and water line repairs and replacements. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship while providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
Safely operate heavy equipment, including backhoes and mini excavators, on residential and commercial job sites. Perform excavation work for sewer and water service repairs and replacements. Follow all OSHA regulations and Apex Plumbing Pros safety policies and procedures. Work collaboratively with excavation crews to complete projects efficiently and safely. Load, unload, transport, and properly secure equipment on trailers according to company guidelines. Inspect, maintain, and perform routine care of excavation equipment. Work safely in confined spaces and open trench environments. Communicate professionally with customers on job sites when necessary. Complete projects within established timelines while maintaining quality workmanship. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
