Cyber Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Lead enterprise patchingby planning, testing, scheduling, and executing patch deployments across endpoints, mobile devices, servers, and network infrastructure, with an emphasis on rapid, proactive remediation to reduce attack surface. Performcontinuous vulnerability scans and assessments, prioritize risks, and coordinate with IT teams to drive remediation before vulnerabilities are exploited. Establish, document, and enforcebaseline security hardening standardsacross enterprise assets and systems. Monitor security event logsfor suspicious activity, anomalies, and potential breaches. Continuously update detection logic to stay ahead of emerging AI threats such as automated phishing, adversarial machine learning, and deepfake social engineering. Supportred and blue team (purple teaming)exercises to validate security control effectiveness, identify gaps, and tune alerting systems based on simulated real-world attacks. Leadincident investigation and containmentduring high-impact security events. Oversee the implementation, configuration, and daily operations ofEndpoint Detection and Response (EDR) , Anti-Virus , DLP, anddevice access controls. Provide hands‑on management for critical security platforms, includingSecurity Email Gateways , IPS/IDS, anddatabase security controls. Supportsecure configuration and continuous security monitoringfor cloud environments includingAWS, Azure, SaaS, and Office 365in alignment with industry frameworks. Ensure technical controls, architectures, and operational procedures map toNIST CSFandNIST SP 800-53, demonstrating a high‑level understanding of banking regulations such asFFIEC , GLBA, andFINRA. Enforce security policies, maintainnetwork/architecture diagrams, and supportstandard operating procedures (SOPs). Assist internal and external auditors during security reviews. Required QualificationsEnglish and Spanishability: understand, speak, read, and write. Ability tospeak effectively before groupsof customers or employees. Capacity to assumeevolving duties and responsibilitiesas the position changes. Willingness to workall hours required, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
