Pharmacy Technician Engelhard Medical Center Pharmacy, a part of Ocracoke Health Center, Inc., is a nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our coastal communities. With locations in Ocracoke, Manteo, and Engelhard, we offer primary care, behavioral health, pediatrics, in-house pharmacies, and support for migrant and seasonal farmworkers. Our mission is to be a respectful, accessible, and comprehensive medical home for all.
Location: Engelhard, NC Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9:00am–5:00pmPay: $15–$17/hour
We're on the lookout for a friendly, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support our busy, mission-driven pharmacy. If you love helping people and want to make a difference in your community, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
Support Patients: Greet and assist patients in person and on the phone with warmth and professionalism.
Process Prescriptions: Enter data, prepare medications, and label/package with care and accuracy.
Stay Organized: Keep supplies stocked, manage files, and help maintain a smooth workflow.
Be Tech-Savvy: Use pharmacy software to handle prescriptions and insurance claims.
Pitch In: Collaborate with your team and take on other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- We are open to candidates interested in Full-Time or Part-Time hours!
