Radiology - Nuclear Medicine

Location: Reno, NVAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4x10 shifts, Days - 6:30 am to 5:00 pm (Rotating Days)

Job Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides high-quality Nuclear Medicine data to interpreting physicians. Responsibilities include operating state-of-the-art scintillation cameras and other support equipment to produce high-quality Nuclear Medicine studies while adhering to departmental procedures and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities: Conduct Nuclear Medicine procedures for patients across all age groups, demonstrating adaptability to physical and cognitive needs. Communicate effectively with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient scheduling and appropriate exams. Order radiopharmaceuticals and coordinate repairs in the absence of a supervisor. Maintain accurate records and perform minor clerical duties as needed. Participate in call schedules during periods of short staffing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required. Prior travel experience is preferred.

Licensure: AART or RCIS, NV State License (Must have NV license in hand before start date).Required Certification: BLS (AHA).Why ARMStaffing?
