Operations SpecialistChicago, ILRole: Operations Specialist Location: Chicago, IL – In-Person (3/days week) Reports to: Head of Marketing Operationstastytrade is hiring an Operations Specialist to help keep our marketing projects organized, on time, and properly resourced. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operational health of marketing initiatives, making sure work is moving forward, teams have what they need to execute, and nothing falls through the cracks between planning and delivery. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of operations experience and is highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once. This person is skilled at running the operational side of programs and has experience working with outside partners. Strong communication skills are essential, since this role works across marketing and with outside partners regularly. Comfort using AI tools to work more efficiently is also important for this role.What You'll DoTrack marketing project timelines and deliverables, flagging anything at risk of slippingCheck in with marketing teams to confirm they have what they need to keep their work movingKeep project management systems and workflows updated so status is always clear and currentSupport financial tracking on marketing projects, including budgets, purchase orders, and invoicingSupport day-to-day coordination with external vendors and partnersHelp spot bottlenecks or gaps in marketing processes and bring them to the team's attentionPull together status updates and reporting on projects, timelines, and resourcingAnswer questions from cross-functional teams looking for visibility into marketing project statusUse AI tools to find efficiencies and streamline recurring workWhat You'll Need5+ years of operations experienceStrong project management skills, with experience using project management systems and toolsHighly organized with excellent attention to detailExperience handling budgets, purchase orders, and invoicingExperience managing relationships with external vendors and partnersStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities at once in a fast-paced environmentA proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem solvingComfort using AI tools to find efficienciesNice to HaveExperience in marketing operations or digital marketingExperience with marketing automation platforms or CRM systemsFamiliarity with budget tracking or basic financial reportingExperience in fintech, trading, and/or regulatory industriesDiscretionary Performance Bonus: 8-12% of base salary based on individual and company performance.
