Assistant Medical Director, Inpatient Psychiatry

Hartford HealthCare seeks a board-eligible or board-certified adult psychiatrist to serve as Assistant Medical Director and lead its general psychiatry inpatient service in Westport. The role combines complex-patient care, multidisciplinary team leadership, resident supervision, and medical student teaching within an academic behavioral health program. Serve as medical director and clinical leader for the general psychiatry inpatient unit. Provide psychiatric treatment to patients with complex mental health conditions and comorbidities. Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team care. Supervise psychiatry residents. Teach medical students and contribute to the psychiatry residency program. Collaborate with department and network leadership on clinical service and leadership development.
