Online Math Tutor

Overview: Help K-12 students master algebra, geometry, and calculus in live 1-on-1 or group sessions. Edu Quencher is looking for a passionate and skilled Online Math Tutor to join our growing network of educators. In this role, you will work directly with K-12 students who need personalised support in mathematics — from foundational arithmetic to advanced calculus. Our platform connects tutors with motivated learners in a flexible, fully remote environment. You set your own availability and work with students on a schedule that suits both parties.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience (in-person or online) Strong command of K-12 mathematics curriculum (Common Core or equivalent) Reliable internet connection and a quiet teaching environment Proficiency with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet, or similar) Excellent communication skills and patience with young learners

Preferred Qualifications: Teaching certification (e.g. state licensure, TEFL/TESOL, or equivalent) Experience with students who have learning differences (IEP, ADHD, dyslexia) Familiarity with SAT/ACT Math preparation Prior use of digital whiteboard tools (Miro, Bit Paper, or similar)

Responsibilities: Conduct live, interactive tutoring sessions via video conference Assess each student's skill gaps and tailor lesson plans accordingly Assign and review practice problems between sessions Track student progress and share updates with parents or guardians Maintain accurate session notes within the Edu Quencher platform Participate in periodic tutor community check-ins and training workshops
