Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant

Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Inpatient Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Rotating shifts; Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (may transition to 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM); Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM Patient Population: Adult Location: St. Louis, MO

Job Responsibilities: Perform bone marrow biopsies and stem cell infusions/transfusions Handle admission, daily rounding, and discharge planning Educate patients and families on treatment plans and care Manage complications from transplants and cellular therapy, such as GVHD, CRS, and ICANS

Qualifications: Board Certification required Active MO State License or willingness to obtain BLS certification required; ACLS preferred 1.5-2 years of inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant APP experience Working Hours

Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM Coverage varies monthly; schedule provided by facility Skills Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Epic Strong communication skills for patient and family interaction Ability to manage and educate on complex transplant and cellular therapy care plans Adept at performing and assisting with critical procedures Engage in a fulfilling career within a supportive team focused on advanced hematology oncology care.
