Ready to Inspect What Others Only Imagine? Imagine stepping onto the floor in Franklin, USA, where semi‐finished molybdenum and tungsten become intricate, high‐performance parts. With the reach of the Plansee Group in 50 countries behind you, you'll apply world‐class quality practices in a team that values precision and pride. What Will You Be Doing? Execute first piece, in‐process, and final inspections—plus first article inspections—to verify compliance with quality assurance requirements. Document everything rigorously: non‐conforming material reports, travelers, and control charts. Build electronic inspection reports from customer drawings and specifications and store them for traceability. Translate instructions—blueprints, travelers, work instructions, process specs, sketches, and verbal guidance—into precise inspection actions. Check that all inspection tools, machinery, and gauges are calibrated to company standards. Do You Match This Profile? High school diploma or GED; technical manufacturing education or ASQ certification is a plus. Expertise in GD&T with confident interpretation of machining and fabrication drawings. Fluency in MS Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with MRP systems. Keen attention to detail, strong shop math; trigonometry proficiency is a plus. Background with Zeiss CMM and Calypso programming is a plus. Knowledge of aerospace standards (AS9100, AS9102, ASTM's) preferred.
