Fleet & Equipment Mechanic - 100% Employer-Paid Family Health Benefits

What You'll Do: Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on company vehicles Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle issues Complete oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, tire rotations, and other routine maintenance Determine which repairs can be completed in-house and when a vehicle should be sent to an outside repair shop Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair company tools and equipment Test-drive company vehicles as needed following repairs Maintain basic vehicle and equipment maintenance records Track upcoming vehicle and equipment maintenance Work independently while keeping maintenance and repairs organized and on schedule What Our Client is Looking For 2+ years of automotive/vehicle mechanic experience Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles Strong preventive maintenance knowledge General mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment and tool repair Basic computer skills, including Excel and Outlook/calendar Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be at least 21 years old High school diploma or GEDAbility to pass required pre-employment drug screening, including marijuana No ASE or other mechanic certifications are required.

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, generally 7:00 AM-4:00 PM. Some flexibility may occasionally be needed, but overtime is not typically expected.
