Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients. Provide therapeutic interventions under the supervision of licensed therapists. Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and rehabilitation goals. Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment.
Requirements:
Experience with pediatric patients is preferred. Familiarity with Meditech EMR is advantageous. Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant is required. Professional attire is expected during work hours.
Work Schedule:
The typical work schedule consists of five 8-hour shifts with weekend requirements depending on the specific schedule. There is no on-call rotation.

This position involves working in both an inpatient rehabilitation setting, which resembles a rural swing bed facility, and outpatient pediatric therapy.
