Job Description
Job Title: Stockroom Clerk
Shift: 1stPayrate: 18.50-20.00
Job Summary:
The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for receiving, organizing, and maintaining inventory in the stockroom to support production, shipping, and daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update logs as required
- Pull, issue, and stage materials for production or shipping
- Label, store, and organize parts to ensure easy retrieval
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories
- Operate pallet jacks or forklifts as needed (if certified)
- Keep stockroom clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Communicate inventory shortages or discrepancies to supervisors
Qualifications:
- Previous stockroom or warehouse experience preferred
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Work Environment:
Manufacturing or warehouse setting Standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout the shift
