Vice President, General Manager

About the Role: The Company is seeking a Vice President and General Manager to lead local business planning, execution, operational performance, and financial results for its Medicare Advantage market. The role translates strategy into measurable plans and coordinates cross-functional teams to drive membership growth and retention, quality outcomes, compliant risk adjustment, provider performance, and market profitability. Responsibilities include managing budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against targets, leading corrective actions, and building strong relationships with providers and hospitals. The executive also develops local leaders and ensures market activities meet regulatory, contractual, and organizational requirements. Candidates should have at least 12 years of progressive leadership experience in Medicare Advantage, managed care, health plan operations, or a related field, including at least seven years leading complex teams and initiatives. Demonstrated accountability for P&L execution, medical economics, growth, provider performance, and operational outcomes is required, along with substantial experience in risk adjustment, quality ratings, medical costs, delegated arrangements, and value-based care. A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required; an advanced degree is preferred. Strong financial management, forecasting, analytical, communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills are essential, as is proficiency with Microsoft Office and business intelligence tools.
