Platform Build Engineer

Overview In this role you will work on Linux-based software development and deployment, contributing to robust build and packaging processes. You will collaborate with distributed teams to implement and maintain CI/CD practices, automate builds and tests, and address security considerations. You will develop scripts and tooling across Linux, Python, and Node ecosystems to support reliable software delivery. This position offers the chance to tackle security-focused challenges and improve packaging workflows in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated build/test/packaging workflows Create and maintain scripts for Linux, Python, and Node environments Manage package building and testing processes (pip/conda, rpm)Troubleshoot software security bugs related to web, network, password, and session management Code and test for OWASP requirements and standards Collaborate with distributed teams in an Agile/Waterfall/SCRUM setting Contribute to source code management practices and tooling Improve automated testing practices and coverage Key requirements Linux bash Python developmentpipconda Node/npmrpmGNU tools (g++, make, configure)Experienced with distributed teams Agile/Waterfall and SCRUM experience Accountability and self-drive Public cloud platform experience Bash script development Python development, packaging, and testing
