About the role
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Remote Staff Engineer will develop and maintain various platforms for the MyQ program, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features and ensure high-quality code standards.
Key responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact across multiple scrum teams for implementing mobile app features
Analyze requirements and collaborate with architects to produce software designs of high complexity
Lead technical discussions and mentor junior and senior engineers to enhance the development team's capabilitiesRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
7+ years of native experience in Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android development
Experience working in a larger team environment and with Git for source control
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum
Expertise in RESTful services and UI patterns such as MVC and MVVM
