Job Details: Job Location: Sonora, CA 95370, Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.00 Hourly, For over 40 years, Newport Pacific has been a recognized leader in manufactured housing, RV resort, and apartment community management. We are currently looking for a Leasing Agent who will be passionate about working with the residents of a 252 Apartment Building located in Sonora, California. Under the general supervision of the Property Manager, the Leasing Agent’s primary responsibility is to facilitate the agreement between the tenant(s) and the property to lease or rent a unit. Performs related duties as assigned.
Provide assistance and support to the Property Manager, including but not limited to:
Provide information about the property and community to prospective clients.
Schedule visits to the property.
Lease or rent the unit under acceptable and pre-determined conditions.
Effectively explain to the client all the leasing/renting policies.
Keep track of all leasing paperwork, including the application, leasing agreements, employment and credit checks, and move-in packets.
Communicate with community residents and the Property Manager to exchange information, coordinate activities and programs and resolve issues or concerns.
Maintain an accurate and thorough knowledge of all aspects of the property, specifically in pricing information, availability, expiration of contracts, and the size of the property.
Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workplace.
Advise the Property Manager of any issues to ensure orderly and efficient operations.
