Position Overview: Our client, an industry leader in automotive machinery solutions, is seeking aSenior Technical Account Executiveto lead sales and customer development throughout North America. This highly specialized role requires proven experience sellingcapital equipment, tire manufacturing machinery, tire testing systems, or automation solutions directly to tire manufacturers.
What You’ll Do: Develop and close capital equipment opportunities with new and existing tire manufacturers. Sell tire uniformity grading, tire testing, wheel and tire processing machinery, and automation solutions. Manage complex, long-cycle sales from initial opportunity through contract award. Build relationships with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, operations, and executive stakeholders. Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and equipment discussions. Translate customer specifications and production needs into machinery and automation solutions. Coordinate technical and commercial proposals with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations. Collaborate with global teams across North America, Germany, India, and other locations. Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
What You’ll Bring: 10+ years of capital equipment or production machinery sales experience within the tire manufacturing industry. Proven experience selling machinery, automation, testing equipment, or technical solutions to tire manufacturers. Strong understanding of tire manufacturing processes and production equipment. Ability to understand AutoCAD drawings, technical specifications, and industrial machinery concepts. Proven success managing and closing complex capital equipment sales. Strong technical presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to independently manage a North American territory in a remote environment. Ability to travel approximately 20%–30%.
Preferred Experience: Tire uniformity, grading, or testing equipment sales. Established relationships within the tire manufacturing industry. Custom machinery and automation solutions.
