This is an exciting opportunity for an RN with a strong clinical informatics background to serve as the bridge between clinical teams and IT, helping improve workflows, optimize Epic applications, and support technology that directly impacts patient care.
📍 Location: Kirkland, WA 98034💼 Job Type: Temp-to-Hire🗓 Schedule: 5x 8s💰 Pay: $57.63–$67.80/hour Why This Role? You’ll play a key role in evaluating, implementing, and optimizing clinical technology across acute care, ambulatory, and home care environments. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how clinicians work, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating those needs into effective technology solutions.
What You’ll Do: Serve as a liaison between clinical teams and IT, translating clinical needs into technical requirements and system solutions. Support the evaluation, development, implementation, training, and optimization of Epic and other clinical applications. Analyze multidisciplinary workflows and develop strategies to improve documentation, clinical pathways, and decision support. Lead and execute testing and quality assurance for system enhancements and updates. Provide training, education, and ongoing support to nurses, providers, and other clinical end users. Create user guides, learning materials, and auditing processes to encourage successful technology adoption. Help lead change management initiatives and support clinicians through workflow and system transitions. Provide on-site and remote support, including participation in a rotating on-call schedule.
What We’re Looking For: Active RN license required Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Sciences, or a related field - Master’s degree in Clinical Informatics is a plus 5+ years of clinical experience in acute care, ambulatory, or home care 4+ years of dedicated Clinical Informatics experience Active Epic certification in relevant applications Experience evaluating and implementing enterprise healthcare information systems Strong understanding of clinical workflows, medical terminology, change management, and adult learning principles Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to clinical audiences Experience with project management, quality assurance, privacy/security standards, and regulatory requirements Ready to take your nursing experience beyond the bedside and help shape the future of healthcare technology?
