We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join a growing technology team supporting a modern cloud-first environment. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure while helping drive cloud initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate is technically strong, solution-oriented, and comfortable working across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, identity management, networking, automation, and cloud-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure solutions within Microsoft Azure
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize cloud environments for performance, availability, and security
- Administer Azure resources including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, and related services
- Support Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDriveManage identity and access management solutions, including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra IDImplement and support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
- Troubleshoot cloud, server, networking, and connectivity issues
- Assist with cloud migrations, modernization efforts, and infrastructure improvement projects
- Develop automation and scripting solutions using PowerShell and related tools
- Document cloud environments, configurations, and technical procedures
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams on projects and initiatives
- Participate in system upgrades, cloud deployments, and technology rollouts
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Cloud Engineering, Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or related experience
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and cloud services
- Experience supporting Active Directory and Microsoft Entra IDUnderstanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN technologies, and firewalls
- Experience with Windows Server administration
- Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management platforms
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including MFA and Conditional Access
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
- Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or related Azure certifications
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
