Caregiver ResponsibilitiesProvide one-on-one companion care and emotional support to seniors and older adults in the home settingAssist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygieneSupport mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safetyAssist with meals, light housekeeping, and daily household tasks as neededAccompany clients to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and community activitiesObserve, document, and report changes in client condition to the care team or Director of NursingPromote client independence, dignity, safety, and overall quality of lifeRequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum one (1) year of caregiving experience preferred in home care, senior care, assisted living, or healthcare settingCurrent CPR certification and negative TB test or chest X-ray (assistance available if needed) Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insuranceAbility to communicate effectively in English and follow care instructionsMust be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
