The CADD Applications Support Specialist at the Florida Department of Transportation provides technical support, training, and maintenance for Computer Aided Drafting and Design applications used by FDOT staff and external clients. This role ensures system reliability, manages software updates and customization, develops training materials, and facilitates continuous improvement of CADD workflows and standards. The position is located in the Production Support Office in Tallahassee and contributes to FDOT's mission of maintaining a safe and efficient transportation system.
Key qualifications:
Provide production support and multi-venue training for CADD applications Assist with CADD software development, customization, and certification testing Develop and maintain CADD documentation, training materials, and technical standards Support digital delivery processes and document management systems Facilitate Technical Advisory Committees and serve as technical advisor Stay current with CADD trends through conferences, research, and knowledge sharing
