What We're Looking For:
Love sports, campus life, marketing, and leading from the front? We're looking for an Events Lead to own Woodstock's presence across the UC Davis campus. This role combines operations, event execution, marketing, customer engagement, and leadership into one unique position. From football Saturdays to DavisFest, Welcome Week, career fairs, and athletic events, you'll be the person making sure Woodstock's shows up professionally and creates memorable experiences for thousands of Aggies. If you're organized, outgoing, dependable, and enjoy taking ownership of projects, this could be one of the most unique student leadership positions on campus. The Events Lead is responsible for planning, executing, and improving Woodstock's on-campus marketing activations and athletic event operations. This position serves as the primary point of contact for: UC Davis Athletic Events Campus Marketing Activations Community Outreach Events Promotional Sampling Event Operations You won't simply be working events—you'll lead them.
What You'll Do:
Lead Woodstock's presence at UC Davis sporting events, including: Football Men's Basketball Women's Basketball Men's Soccer Women's Soccer Women's Volleyball Baseball Responsibilities include: Event setup Booth organization Pizza sampling and sales Square POS operation Cash handling Coupon distribution Customer engagement Event breakdown Equipment organization Event recap reporting Event Leadership You'll become the primary owner of Woodstock's event program. While we have four trained Event Captains who lead football booths and can cover events when needed, the Events Lead is expected to be the primary representative whenever possible. You'll also help train future event staff and continually improve how we execute events. What Success Looks Like Successful Events Leads: Show up early. Are highly organized. Take ownership. Communicate clearly. Represent the Woodstock's brand professionally. Solve problems without waiting to be asked. Leave every event better than they found it. Skills We're Looking For Friendly and approachable Comfortable talking with new people Organized Reliable Punctual Self-motivated Strong communicator Comfortable handling money Comfortable learning simple technology Able to work independently Calm under pressure Leadership experience is a plus—but not required.
