Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Travel

Provide direct nursing care to emergency room patients on night shifts Triage, assess, and monitor patients with acute and critical conditions Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments per provider orders Operate and monitor ER equipment and interpret clinical data Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on care plans Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans Follow ER protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards Respond to codes and emergency situations promptly and effectively Communicate with Advantis Medical Staffing for assignment support and compliance Emergency nursing Triage assessment IV therapy and medication administration Cardiac and rhythm monitoring Trauma and critical care management ACLS protocols PALS or ENPC care Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Infection control and patient safety Patient and family education Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active, unencumbered RN license (TX or compact) BLS certification ACLS certification PALS and/or ENPC certification preferred TNCC certification preferred Prior travel nursing experience preferred
