Produce Stocker/Cashier – Part Time People's Food Co-op is looking for a friendly, dependable person to join our team as a part-time Produce Stocker/Cashier. This position works in both our Produce Department and at the register, helping keep our produce displays stocked and inviting while providing friendly, helpful service to our customers.
Pay: $15.00 per hour Status: Part-time
What You'll Do:
Stock, rotate, and maintain fresh produce displays Check produce for quality and freshness Keep the Produce Department clean, organized, and well stocked Assist customers with questions and help them find products Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently Provide friendly and welcoming customer service Bag purchases and assist customers as needed Help maintain a clean and organized store Work cooperatively with other staff and departments
What We're Looking For:
Dependable and able to work as part of a team Friendly and comfortable working with the public Able to provide helpful, respectful customer service Able to stay organized and work efficiently in a busy environment Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing the physical tasks associated with stocking Previous retail, grocery, produce, or cashier experience is helpful, but not required
