TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Simi Valley, California, 93065!Job TitleRN - Emergency Room LocationSimi Valley, CA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | Full-TimeKey Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the care team Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care Manage and respond to acute and emergent patient situations within the Emergency Room setting
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice requiredAHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification requiredAHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification requiredAHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification required
- Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM), TEAM-A, or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification requiredEPIC EMR experience required
- Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior acute care facility experience
