Technical Account Manager

Position Overview: The Technical Account Manager serves as the primary point of (technical) contact for contractors & distributors, ensuring strong relationships, optimal product presentation, and effective training across multiple locations. This role combines technical expertise, commercial acumen, and field-based account management to strengthen Repair Care’s market position in the U.S.The position is full-time and field-based, reporting to the U.S. General Manager.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain productive relationships with distributors and contractors. Conduct regular branch visits) to review performance and ensure compliance with merchandising standards. Deliver in-store product presentations and technical workshops for contractors and store staff. Monitor competitor activity and share regular market insights and reports. Collaborate with marketing teams on promotions, merchandising materials, and trade events. Manage scheduling, reporting, and customer interactions through Salesforce. Represent Repair Care at trade shows, training sessions, and industry events.

Qualifications and Experience: Practical understanding of (wood) repair or construction techniques is a must. Some experience in account management, field sales, or technical support within the construction, coatings, or DIY industries. (preferably the paint industry).Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills. Strong organizational ability with experience managing a multi-site territory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Northeast region and occasionally to the Netherlands for training.
