About the role

Overview In this role you will craft social-first content for Sony Pictures Television Studios’ slate of series. You will read scripts to spot social moments, pitch concepts, and produce platform-native assets from on-set to distribution. You’ll collaborate with Creative Marketing and production teams to ensure content aligns with each show’s voice, while delivering quickly with high creative and technical standards. This role offers impact across branding, storytelling, and fan engagement at scale. Compensation / Benefitsbase salary $90K-$110 Kannual incentive possiblecomprehensive benefits Responsibilities Identify social-first moments from scripts, episode cuts, and materials to extend series narratives Concept, pitch, and execute native social ideas that fit each show's voice and tone Capture on-set content with talent for high-quality social assets Conduct on-camera interviews and talent interactions to unlock personality and humor Write, produce, shoot, and edit short-form video for Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, and emerging platforms Translate the social brand voice into day-to-day content across multiple series Deliver assets quickly while upholding high creative/technical standards Collaborate with Executive Director, Social Creative and broader teams to align content with strategy Work with production, publicity, and franchise partners to manage workflows and approvals Track engagement to refine future concepts and inform strategy Support major campaigns, premieres, and cultural moments with reactive content Maintain organized workflows, asset management, and versioning across shows Key requirements 5–8 years of experience as a social writer, producer, or content creator in entertainment, streaming, digital media, or agencies Proven ability to concept, shoot, and edit short-form video end-to-end Strong writing with clear voice, tone, and timing Hands-on experience capturing content on set with talent Deep familiarity with social platforms, trends, formats, and audience behaviors Proficiency in editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects)Ability to work quickly under pressure with multiple projects Strong interpersonal skills in live production environments Collaborative mindset with openness to direction and original ideas Passion for TV, pop culture, and social storytelling Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, Advertising, or equivalent experiencecollaborativecreative visionstrong communication Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro After Effects
