PRN Weekend Coverage Respiratory Therapist

Job Description: Completes assessments and implements Respiratory technique to maintain or rehab patient with many different Respiratory illness/diseases. Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment Complete a variety of bedside treatments Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation Attend applicable IDT meetings Experience with tracheotomy Experience is a long term care setting Follow procedure and protocol of facility Completes tracking, auditing and caseload management Performs related duties as required Respiratory Therapist (RT)QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT. Licensed in the state in which practicing BLS certification.
