About the role

Quantum Career Transition has been retained to assist with the opening of multiple locations around the United States for a fast growing flooring company. We are in the process of identifying high-priority candidates to own and operate one or more of these locations.
About The Company: Our company is a home services brand focused on flooring replacement, installation, and renovation, serving both residential and commercial customers. Instead of relying on a traditional retail showroom and heavy inventory, this is an asset-light, logistics-driven model that operates primarily from a home office and local warehouse space. Owners oversee a sales and project-management engine that brings curated samples directly into the customer’s home, coordinates professional installation, and delivers end-to-end service. From a customer standpoint, the brand is positioned as a “white-glove” concierge experience that aims to remove friction from a historically stressful purchase. The brand’s process centers on in-home consultations where a flooring specialist brings selected samples, takes precise measurements, and provides clear next steps without high-pressure tactics. Homeowners and commercial decision-makers receive upfront pricing and whole-home/business quotes; financing options may be available, and no labor guarantee is stated. This consumer promise gives owners a strong value proposition to present in their markets.
A Day in the Life: While each owner’s schedule will vary, this is designed as an executive-managed business where the owner and president leads sales, team management, and local market development rather than performing installations. In a typical day, an owner might start by reviewing their CRM and operations software dashboards, checking new leads from online marketing and the call center, monitoring booked consultations, and tracking active jobs in progress. The morning may include coordinating with installers and project managers: confirming today’s jobs, reviewing material deliveries, and ensuring crews have what they need for each site. The owner might also participate in or oversee in-home consultations, where a salesperson (often the owner early on) brings curated samples, measures the space, and presents options and pricing to homeowners. Throughout the day, the owner manages follow-ups on open proposals, updates financing status for customers using available options, and enters or reviews job details in the software systems specified by the corporate office. They also track marketing performance and local ad spend to stay in alignment with required territory marketing levels (a stated percentage of revenue) and adjust campaigns or vendor activity as needed. Administrative responsibilities include overseeing bookkeeping and accounting (using Quick Books Online and approved bookkeeping services), monitoring royalty and marketing fees due, and ensuring required reports are submitted via the proprietary software. Depending on growth stage, the owner may spend time interviewing and hiring salespeople, installers, or administrative staff, as outlined in the operations manual and supported by corporate recruiting guidance. On a regular cadence, owners participate in calls, “huddles,” and training updates, and plan for attendance at the required annual convention. Overall, the day-to-day role is centered on sales leadership, operations oversight, and local brand building rather than hands-on trade work.
Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate is a business leader comfortable with sales, team management, and process execution. Candidates do not need prior flooring installation or interior design experience; the system and training are intended to provide the technical framework while the owner focuses on leadership, decision-making, and customer relationships. Candidates with backgrounds in sales, operations, or management, particularly those familiar with home services or project-based businesses, are likely to align well with the role. Comfort with technology is important, as the corporate office requires the use of a specified tech stack (CRM, lead management, accounting, and call center integrations) and expects owners to manage their business using data and reporting tools. Serious inquiries only please!
