About the role

Primary Care and Occupational Health experience, ACLS certification, and Epic experience are required.
What You’ll Do: Provide comprehensive Primary Care and Occupational Healthservices, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and perform required occupational health evaluations, includingOSHA, DOT, CDC, and other regulatory examinations .Conductfitness-for-duty and return-to-work evaluationsas requested. Evaluate and treat workplace injuries and illnesses using evidence-based clinical guidelines, with a focus on safe and timely return to meaningful work. Perform clinical procedures includinginjections, suturing, wound care, and infection management .Develop and manage treatment plans for injured workers and collaborate with the client, TPA, and other stakeholders regarding case management. Implement and monitortransitional and modified-duty programsfor injured employees. Develop individualized patient care plans, monitor progress, and ensure continuity of care. Educate patients regarding treatment plans, preventive care, health maintenance, and overall wellness. Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests to evaluate clinical conditions and determine appropriate treatment. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Partner with the Medical Director, client stakeholders, and safety teams onhealth promotion initiatives, medical surveillance, ergonomics, workplace safety, injury prevention, and process improvement .Conduct or participate in site visits and identify opportunities to mitigate workplace health and safety hazards. Refer patients to physicians, specialists, or other healthcare providers when clinically appropriate. Maintain complete, accurate, and timely patient documentation within Epic .Educate and coach nursing staff regarding clinical standards and best practices. Perform additional duties as assigned. What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications: Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) licenses/certificationsrequired for the state of practice. Current State Prescriptive Authority, as applicable. FederalDEA registrationmatching the state of practice, as applicable. Current national Nurse Practitioner certification throughANCC or AANP .Master’s Degree in Nursing. If the degree or certificate does not specifically indicate Nursing, transcripts may be required. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitionerin ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, primary care, and/or an emergency department setting. Demonstrated Primary Care (PC) experience required .Demonstrated Occupational Health (OCC) experience required .CurrentBLS certificationwith hands-on training through the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), or equivalent. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required .Epic EMR experience required .Experience evaluating and treating workplace injuries, performing return-to-work/fitness-for-duty assessments, and managing occupational health cases.
Preferred Qualifications: Occupational Health certification such asCOHN, COHN-S, or COHN-S/CM .Experience conducting workplace site visits and partnering with safety teams to identify and mitigate occupational hazards. Experience with OSHA, DOT, medical surveillance, ergonomics, workers’ compensation, and injury-prevention programs.
