Cashier (Bar-Focused) Dish Society – Memorial We're looking for a Cashier who will primarily work behind the bar. This role is a cashier position first, with a focus on bar responsibilities. You'll still be expected to learn and perform all cashier duties, but your main station will be the bar area. What This Position DoesTake guest orders at the register and guide them through the menu Prepare and serve all bar drinks including: Cocktails Beer & wine Coffee & espresso drinks House-made sodas and specialty beverages Learn and maintain proper barista techniques (milk steaming, espresso extraction, drink builds) Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar station Support the front-of-house by running drinks, bussing, and resetting when needed Provide warm, genuine hospitality — every guest, every time What We Need from YouComfort learning all cashier responsibilities, even though your main spot is the bar Ability to stay calm during rushes and work clean, organized, and efficiently Strong communication and teamwork Willingness to learn our drink specs and maintain consistency Previous bar or barista experience is a plus, but not required — we will train you Must be 18+ to work behind the bar What You'll LoveFun, positive, supportive work environment Real growth opportunities — we promote from within Bar training program that builds real skill Flexible scheduling Employee meals + perks If you enjoy making great drinks, connecting with guests, and being part of a collaborative team, we'd love to talk to you.
