BUS DRIVERThis is a school term position. Take your pre-school children with you Paid CDL Training Competitive Salaries Salary determined by experience and current salary schedule. To provide support within the student transportation services area with specific responsibilities for transporting students over scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions; ensuring vehicle is in safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses.
Responsibilities include: working under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods; providing information and/or advising others; and operating within a defined budget. Utilization of some resources from other work units is often required to perform the job's functions. There is a continual opportunity to significantly impact the organization's services. The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness. There may be occasional exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and tissue. High School diploma or GED. Must be able to read, write and comprehend written and oral instructions. Valid driving license. Job related experience with increasing levels of responsibility is desired.
