CAD Design Drafter

Responsibilities: Assist in the development of piping and industrial plant layouts designs using CAD software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze piping systems and identify optimization opportunities. Support the preparation of detailed piping design drawings, schematics, and specifications. Participate in project meetings and assist in the coordination of design activities with other disciplines. Conduct site visits to gather data and assess existing conditions for new projects.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and experience in related field. Basic understanding of piping design principles and relevant industry codes and standards. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Revit).1-2+ years of experience in industrial plants and piping design or related fields. Required experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit, Plant 3D).Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies Understanding of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics as they relate to piping systems. Experience with pipe stress analysis tools is a plus. Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, ANSI, and API.Soft Skills and Cultural Fit Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
