Mainframe CICS System Administrator (Openings: 1 Position) Open for W2 and C2C arrangements (W2 Folks Preferred first)
Location:
Chandler, AZ; Plano, TX; Charlotte, NC; and Jersey City, NJ from Day 1 (Client prefer local folks) Hybrid Schedule: 3 Onsite Days (Tue, Wed, Thur) & 2 Remote Days (Mon, Fri)
Duration: 6+ months, extendable

No mid layer / No Implementation partners are Involved Mode of Interview: 2 Rounds mostly Inperson
Job Description:
Responsible for administering, maintaining, upgrading, and tuning CICS Transaction Server environments across production, test, and disaster-recovery regions.
Mandatory requirements include:
- Hands-on CICS Transaction Server administration on IBM z/OSCICS installation, upgrades, PTF application, and maintenance
- Configuration and support of CICS regions
- Knowledge of DFHSIT and CICS system initialization parameters
- Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Ability to analyze transaction response time, CPU utilization, and storage usage
- Willingness to work onsite three days per week
Preferred experience:
Experience supporting production, test, and DR CICS environments Experience with OMEGAMON, MainView, or TMONCICS performance tuning and bottleneck elimination
Pay Range:
$65/hr - $70/hrThe specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
