Job Summary:
The Audio Visual Coordinator assists customers with theoperation of electronic audio-visual equipment to ensure successfullive programs, conferences, and events. Manage logistics and set-upfor scheduled classes, programs, conferences, and events. Provideaudio-visual support for large campus-wide events. Provideaudio-visual support and solutions for faculty, staff, and clientswhile on site. Assure that facilities are prepared in advance forgroup needs.
Responsibilities:
Manage Set-up/Teardown and operate audio and video equipmentincluding microphones, speakers, video screens, projectors, videomonitors, recording equipment, video/teleconferencing systems andother related electronic equipment for all events occurring underthe Student Union Facilities Events Services Department
Create User Manuals to assist staff in operating equipment
Test and troubleshoot audio-visual technology for all classes, presentations and events in the managed facilities. Conduct routinetesting of in-room and portable A/V equipment and cable management. Perform minor preventative maintenance and restore functionality ofA/V equipment. Submit work requests utilizing designated softwareto report equipment problems. Offer daily updates on audio/visualprogress and issues within managed facilities
Review event forms; consult with coordinators on program andevent needs. Evaluate and provide audio visual, sound and lighting, and electronic needs for users. Meet with customers to assessneeds, provide solution, and complete quote and billing andreceivables process
Operation of professional digital audio consoles and DMXlighting consoles. Set up LED and traditional stage lighting, Line Array and prediction software
Manage, Hire, and Train 8-10 Audio Visual studentemployees
Required Qualifications: Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience:
One (1) or more years of related work experience
Demonstrated supervisory experience
Proposed Salary $22.50 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweeklybasis.

Demonstrated agility with technology including Mac and PC
