Auto Maintenance Tech I

Cox Automotive is seeking an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform routine maintenance on a diverse vehicle fleet in support of our leading automotive brands. In this entry-level role, you’ll handle oil and filter changes, tire rotations, basic brake checks, fluid top-offs, and safety inspections while keeping accurate service records. Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs Conduct basic safety and brake inspections and report findings to senior technicians Document all work performed in service systems with accurate records Use diagnostic and shop tools in accordance with safety and OEM guidelines Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following Cox Automotive standards Collaborate with teammates and follow direction from lead technicians and supervisors Support fleet reliability by identifying potential issues and escalating as needed Automotive diagnostics Oil and fluid changes Tire rotation and balancing Brake inspection and service Battery testing and replacement Use of automotive scan tools Vehicle safety inspections Reading repair orders and service manuals Shop safety procedures Basic computer skills for work orders Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ASE Certification (preferred) Automotive Service Excellence (A1-A8) coursework Valid driver’s license with clean driving record OEM or dealership auto maintenance training (preferred) Safety and OSHA compliance training
