About the role

Actuarial Leadership Role Pricing partner to business management Closer to a pricing partner than a modelling-heavy individual contributor because it combines pricing decisions with business coordination, team leadership, and system implementation. Executive-level P&C actuarial leadership role in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, supporting Westchester Digital/Middle Market. You will lead a two-person actuarial team, oversee pricing studies and recurring reporting, and improve system-driven pricing and data strategy through collaboration with management, IT, and predictive analytics.
Requirements:
  • Must have
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related field 10+ years of actuarial pricing or reserving experienceACAS or FCAS certification preferred, or equivalent industry qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and technologies
  • Previous managerial or supervisory experience
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing deliverables and manage time effectively to meet scheduled due dates
  • Strong collaboration skills, ability to work closely with diverse individuals
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Adaptability, resourcefulness, and a growth mindset
Nice to have: Familiarity with programming languages and tools such as Radar / SQL / R / PythonSkills & DomainTools Excel Domain Annual pricing study oversight Monthly/quarterly reporting (price monitoring, NvR)
