Sr. Strategist - Havas NY

Overview As a Senior Strategist at Havas, you will drive consumer insight through advanced research methods and strategic thinking. You’ll be an integrated member of client teams, elevating branding initiatives and shaping creative briefs that guide execution. You’ll translate data into actionable strategy and present clear direction to clients while tracking cultural and social trends. This role offers the chance to influence key brand decisions and contribute to new business opportunities within a collaborative agency environment. Responsibilities Represent the client’s customers in meetings and present research/strategy findings Collaborate closely with account service as a fully integrated team member Provide leadership and guidance on branding initiatives Craft creative briefs and deliver persuasive briefings to creatives Recommend and implement research to aid consumer insight gathering and strategic process Manage primary research specialists and specify actionable research requirements Develop accurate conclusions from research data and present strategy and direction to clients Monitor and interpret cultural and social trends relevant to the client’s business Participate in new business development Key requirements Bachelor’s degree or MBA or equivalent business experience (preferred)Six+ years in an advertising agency, with at least five years in account strategy Integrated experience with emphasis on digital preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills across sources and audiences Strong analytical reasoning to define problems, gather information, and draw conclusionsstrong communicationpresentation skillscollaborationconsumer insightsresearch design and executiondata interpretation
