Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Franksville, Wisconsin (onsite only)
Experience:
3 to 5 years Job Description: Mandatory Experience: Minimum 4+ years of design experience with PCBA design and electrical circuits Experience with engineering analysis and digital simulation (CAD, FEA, statistical analysis, software applications, electrical analysis tools, etc....).High voltage design experience and power system analysis experience Experience with PCB development tools Product design, DFM/DFA, and manufacturing knowledge. Excellent computer and data analysis skills including Microsoft Office suite. Problem solving experience using Root Cause Analysis techniques. Strong analytical aptitude to troubleshoot Analog & Digital designs at the component level Project leadership skills Knowledge of Green belt training No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of South Milwaukee, WI to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain product designs, BOMs, drawings, and specifications for control systems and protective relays.
Support new product introductions and engineering changes for existing products.
Resolve production, manufacturing, and testing issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Partner with suppliers and Supplier Quality Engineers to evaluate capabilities, conduct assessments, and approve components.
Investigate product quality and reliability issues; document findings and support customer communications.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Design for Six Sigma, DFM, and DFA methodologies.
Perform engineering analyses and simulations using CAD, FEA, and other engineering tools.
Coordinate product verification, validation, and reliability testing with internal and external laboratories.
Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve products, processes, and overall performance.
