Precision Assembly Technician CoWorx Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Precision Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting high-precision mechanical and electromechanical components used in advanced motion systems and automation equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working from technical drawings and work instructions, and the ability to perform precise hands-on assembly in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Assemble precision mechanical and electromechanical components in accordance with engineering drawings, assembly procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment to verify proper component fit, alignment, functionality, and performance.
Perform inspections and measurements utilizing calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and other precision metrology equipment to ensure compliance with
assembly issues, identify root causes, and make necessary adjustments to meet quality and performance requirements.
Maintain accurate production records, inspection results, and manufacturing
established manufacturing processes, quality standards, safety procedures, and work instructions at all times.
Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to support production objectives, continuous improvement efforts, and on-time product delivery.
Desired Background/Skills:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in mechanical, electromechanical, or precision assembly within a manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical
with hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and assembly equipment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with tight tolerances and quality requirements.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented production environment.
Manual dexterity and the ability to perform detailed assembly work requiring fine motor skills and close attention to detail.
