Requirements: PhD in Psychology or closely related discipline at time of appointment Substantial record of publication in top I/O journals like Personnel Psychology and Journal of Applied Psychology Graduated from distinguished I/O program Evidence of research productivity Strong potential for securing external research funding (preferred) Evidence of effective teaching (preferred) Experience mentoring students in research (preferred)

Responsibilities: Maintain active, high-quality, fundable research program Direct graduate student research Teach graduate and undergraduate courses Teaching load 1-2 courses each semester for highly active researcher Summer teaching with additional compensation Participate in departmental, college, and university service Endowed Chair The Byham Chair is a five-year renewable endowed position with additional salary and spending account for research, travel, and program enhancement activities. About Ohio University Carnegie Foundation R1 doctoral institution. Department serves 1,400+ undergraduate and 60 graduate students. Resources include infrastructure for grant procurement, grant mentoring, research lab space, start-up funds, graduate student support.
