Quick Facts: Location: Greenville, SC Start Date: 11/02/2026 Duration: Coverage through January 29 Shift: Clinic hours 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Shift Type: 8 hours/day Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licenses & Certifications: Active Medical License required Experience: Experience in Oncology preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: Compensation discussed upon application Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Travel, licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements when applicable What You ll Do: Provide outpatient and inpatient care in a dedicated cancer center Participate in tumor board discussions and management planning Prescribe and manage chemotherapy and other treatments Order diagnostic tests and imaging procedures Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurse oncologists and other providers Cover approximately 12+ patients daily, including inpatient rounds Maintain documentation in EPIC EMR system Contribute to patient management in hematology and oncology areas What You Need: Active medical license in South Carolina Prior experience in oncology (preferred but not mandatory) Ability to participate in inpatient coverage and inpatient rounds Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This locum opportunity is based at a free-standing cancer center, serving adult and geriatric patients. The provider will be responsible for managing a mix of benign hematology, malignant oncology cases, and inpatient calls, contributing to the treatment and support of cancer patients.
