About the role

Athletic Trainer Athletic Trainer Sports Medicine Full Time Assists in development/implementation of sports medicine program; prevention, assessment, treatment, and reconditioning of athletic injuries. Bachelor's degree; Mississippi licensure; NATABOC in good standing; 2 years' experience. CPR or ACLS certification. Provide prevention/assessment/treatment/reconditioning per NATA standards. Cover physicals, games, and related events; assist occ med program. Demonstrate and assist with therapeutic exercises and functional mobility. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and kneeling. Lift, support, and transfer patients with assistance/devices as needed (up to 50 lbs independently).Manual dexterity for therapeutic techniques and equipment; adequate vision and hearing. All candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
