Details 26-bed ICU unit staffed with 1 charge RN, 1 rapid response RN, and 8 bedside RNs per shift Patient ratio of 1:2 Uses mechanical ventilators, CRRT, IABP, Impella, and EKOS equipment Performs procedures including intubation, bedside ECMO cannulation, chest tube insertion, bedside tracheostomy, and central line insertions Uses Meditech EMR 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Required to work every other weekend Floating required to CVIMCU and IMCU No on-call responsibilities Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within first 30 days of start) 1-2 years of ICU experience required CV or Neuro ICU experience preferred US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted) No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention Candidates must be accountable for their actions and demonstrate strong personal responsibility Royal Blue scrubs required Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-.
