Patient Registration Specialist Responsible for obtaining complete and accurate patient data during the registration process, including insurance verification as well as necessary signatures. To present a professional and caring image to patients, visitors and hospital staff. Managing responsibilities effectively and efficiently to avoid interference with patient care.
Qualifications Education Required:
High School Diploma/GED
License(s) Required None
Experience/Skills:
6 Months experience as an ER Registrar is preferred.
PC Proficient with knowledge of Medical Terminology
Bi-lingual Spanish/English Required.
Knowledge of EPIC preferred
Typing Minimum 25-30 wpm
Accurate attention to detail.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be a TEAM PLAYER.
Working Conditions: Emergency Room Area
